There are a ton of new juices that are coming out that are 100% juice! The only preservative is Citric, Asorbic or Malic acid. I use that in the wine anyway, any reason why these wouldn't work?
Welches: http://www.welchs.com/products/100-percent-juices
Dole: http://dolejuice.com/dj_products/category.cfm?CategoryID=21
R.W. Knudsen: http://www.rwknudsenfamily.com/products/organic-juices/

If so how do you figure out water to juice ratio and what additives, tannin and the like. They are such unique blends. I did try it with the Dole: Orange/Pineapple/Bananas It was good! Very tropical to say the least. I just used the recipe for banana wine on that one.

NOTE: I know they may have been heated and therefore have Peptic Haze at the end. . . I have never cared about that. . . only affects the look not the taste

I wouldn't think you would not use any water. Got to be careful with these kinds of juices, and read the ingredients because most of the time the first juice listed is apple. Ingredients are list from most to least in the product. So when it says 100% juice it can be any juice. In the end you may not end up with what you thought you were making. Now that's not saying it won't be good, you just won't know until you try it once.

Well said, I do look to see if apple is listed in there. Sometimes it is Grape also, which is fine as I think it will add body to the wine. I have started adding Grape Concentrates to most of my fruit wine cause they seem a little lacking, Raspberry and Chardonnay are better than you might think together :)

I buy a lot of the Welch's juices and simmer them down by half and use them to flavor skeeter pee. Oh, so good!

If this really is pure juice winemaking is very easy !!!

Measure acidity and add just enough water to bring it down to .6
Measure SG and bring it up to 1080 with pure sugar.
Thats all !!!!

Piece of cake.
