I'm putting the blame on you for my "need" for more carboys to DH. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Perhaps a little off topic, but as you get more carboys you run greater risk of breaking one..

I enclose all of my carboys in custom crates. They are fantastic in that I can stack them in a single column when empty. They also work great in protecting the glass (I have not lost a carboy in over 20 years). Also, they provide plenty of easy handholds for picking them up!!

I have similar crates and need to make some more....they are well worth the time to make. I assume, to stack flat, you need to lay them over on their sides?

Hard to see in the photo, but if you turn the crate upside down, the carboy will not slip out.
