How to make peach wine

I remember helping my grandmother making peach cobbler when I was young and she never threw away the peels. The only thing I threw away was the stones. I asked my aunt what was done with the peels and she said that my grandfather would make peach wine with them. Can someone tell me how to do this? The cobbler came out great!

You can't make wine with only the skins (peels). Now making Peach wine with destoned Peaches is a breeze. Check the Recipe section on the home page.

Well I use to make peach jelly from the skins. Now saying that understand I use the term "skins" loosely. When you peel the peach there is still some of the fruit on the skin so you are more or less making the wine from this but you would need an awful lot of skins.
