Hello all
I bought some used Carboys off of tis older gent and he was telling me that he kegs his wine with nitrogen instead of bottling. Has anyone done this ? And how hard is it to do?
Sorry if this was asked before.
Thanks
If the wine was clear and ready to bottle, would it make any difference?
I think this method would work for wines like Dragon Blood and Welch's (I know, your favorite!) that are quick drinking styles. I wouldn't use it for something I wanted to age.
Thanks, trolo, for starting this thread.A friend of mine uses a co2 setup that basicly replaces the volume when he draws cider from 15 gallon barrels(low pressure)I was curious about the nitrogen angle-thanks to Dhanes for the links.
