Thank you, all, for the kind birthday greetings. It has been a good day. Got my grading done, and am sitting here enjoying a glass of a spiced apple wine I bottled last April. It's starting to mellow out and taste quite good.
When I can get the time, am planning to start a small batch (1 gal) of mead with bamboo honey. I've never used bamboo honey, so am looking forward to that. I plan to include a small amount of blackberry, rose hips, lemon verbena, orange peel, and cardamom.
