Our wine is in the stabilising and clearing stage now and noticed that there is lees all along the inside of the carboy from top to bottom. I'm start ing to wander how do I take care of this problem? Reading through all the old posts last nite, I came across the perfect solution. All I had to do was gently tip thecarboy from side to side. Problem solved, thanks.

You can also twist the carboy (turn it quickly) if you have it on a smooth enough surface. I use a rubber mat which makes it nice so nothing slides around but makes it hard to give those glass jugs a quick jerk and twist.....

I'll give that suggestion a try also. Probably easier for my wife to do it that way.

Actually, she started belly dancing classes last Saturday, wonder if that will work?
