I have been reading you fellas for a long time, years, and I finally registered. I recently separated from the Navy and bought a house, so now I can focus a little more on this hobby.

I started out by making a few batches of juice wine (shoot from the hip style) with baker's yeast. They turned out ok.
Then I gained some knowledge, started using a hydrometer and additives, and actually measuring stuff.

I just started a new 3gal of apple, and figured I'd join.

Hi

Welcome! I've just started too...well back in July. I've already started three kits and a batch of Dragon Blood (lemon-fruit wine).

Hi SubVet welcome WineMakingTalk! Glad you signed up! Are you thinking of adding any spices to your Apple wine?

Julie-
Yes, I have some blueberry's and cinnamon in there now. I used some honey with my sugar. I'll see how it tastes and go from there.

Winequest-
