I'm in the process of fermenting my elderberry wine, It's in it's fourth day, and when I break up the cap and push it down into the juice, everything is left with a reddish, sticky goo. Does anybody know what this is and how to remove it? It doesn't seem to want to come off, even in the dishwasher. I've made other types of wine before and don't remember getting this stuff.
