A while back there was a discussion about whether it is safe to carry a carboy by it's handle, chances of breakage, etc.
That motivated me to order a hauling harness. We tried it out last night. I was able to get a full 6-gallon carboy into by myself, just by doing a little tipping of the carboy. 15 seconds, 1st try. Bert and I then carried it down the basement stairs together. This is much better than the 1 person carry.
