ANYONE INTRESTED IN A 60 GALLON DRUM OF JUICE?

California Wine Grapes (Detroit) ordered 2 drums for me but they had to take a pallet of 4 drums as a minimum. SO there is a drum of Syrah and a drum of Grenache available. $495 each. Reach out to me or them if you are interested. I can help transport from their location to you (within...

Specific Gravity of juice off the scale!

I picked up a drum of Rapel Casa Rosa red blend from Luva Bella Wed. Siphoned off 30 gal to 2 open lid drums. I noticed the juice was exceptionally thick and thought " WOW this stuff is going to be a rich big wine." I pitched r 212 in one and 71b 1122 in the other. Then I decided to measure the...

I am over run with empty bottles, and I have at this point a nearly limitless supply thru the growing network of winos, I mean friends. I have several cases I'm willing to part with, but if you need more I can hook you up with a weekly amount of 3-5 cases of empties. You still have to...

PET Carboys / better bottle and knockoffs

This may be sacrilege to some. But I'll put it out there anyway. I will also disclose that I have done a side by side comparison for over a year now with no measurable differences and no taste differences. What sin did I commit? I used PET 4 gallon water bottles from Sam's Club as...

Last of the reds from Gentile Juice

I have been swamped this spring. I finally got around to arranging for Chilean juices from Gentile Juice, and all Vince had left was 2-Malbec,2-Sangiovese, and a Syrah. If anyone has any starting SG data from these varietals, I'd be glad to know them. I'm sure they will be partway started...

Hi all, Here is some free investment advise. See attached link http://www.cnbc.com/id/101371746 China has become the largest consumer of wine. They also make the most wine as a nation. The difference is those who drink prefer the imports from Italy, France and US. I see a long...

    Uses for wild grapes?

I have a lot of wild grape vines in the ravine. (I'm in the process of killing them, many are covering the entire canopy of trees as high as 50 ft up.). I am gathering some of the grapes so far about a 5 gallon bucket full of clusters. I rinsed with k-meta, sealed the bucket, allowed 24...

    Chokecherry Recipe?

I have a few wild chokecherry trees on the edge of our ravine. I'd like to try something with the fruit. I won't get more than 4-5 lbs. I was thinking of using them to tweak a kit. All Ideas are welcome, the further out of the box the more fun it is.
