yeast question

I've been planning on using RC 212 on a bucket of merlot juice but have been seeing posts here talking about it being stinky if it gets undernurished. Would the red star Pasteur Red be a good alternative or is it basically the same thing? I do plan on adding yeast nutrient either way.

I really can't say about Pasteur Red, but if you give the yeast proper nutrients at the proper time, H2S won't be an issue anyway.
