WineXpert WineXpert Selection Merlot

I am just getting started in winemaking. I am planning to purchase the WineXpert Selection Kit. Has anyone else made this wine? If so, can you give me an idea of the finished quality of the wine? Specifically, can you make a comparison to any commercial wines?

In my opinion, it is very hard to match a kit to a commercial wine in taste.

If you like merlot, you will not be totally disappointed with this kit...after a year of sitting...

I hope this grows up quick cause the test bottle tasted like a 10 liter kit.
