Has anyone used one of the William's Brewing Wine Kits and what was your impression? Thanks.

I love their wine kits. Makes 5 gallons, not 6. The Petit Syrah is fantastic and the Viognier is really nice.

You MUST know how to make wine first, because their directions are overly simple, like mix with water and yeast, rack, bottle!

Thanks Rocky, that's what I was looking for....BTW, how did that light colored kit turn out?

Funny you should ask. It really darkened but it still has a "off taste" that I cannot seem to ameliorate. I have it in bulk aging right now and I am going to continue to play with it. If it turns out to be drinkable, I plan to pay Williams for the replacement kit. I have attached a picture of where it is at this point, color-wise. I am also making a batch of Malbec from Chilean juice (second picture) and it seems very promising.
