Whites rotting on the vine

I guess I wil have to take the whites in today or tomorrow even though the brix is in the teens. Over the last couple of days they have been infected with rot. About 20% of the berries are mushy and shrunken. Is there any way to tell noble rot from just plain rot? Its been unbearably humid here.

Regular rot stinks, noble rot doesn't. Sounds simple but it is a good way to tell.
