As a newbie, I am experimenting with labels using Adobe Photoshop Elements. The label I crafted didn't look bad, considering it was my first effort. It was a photo of a mountain stream with lettering over the photo. I printed it on photo stock and tried to glue it to a bottle with a glue stick--no soap--the paper was too thick. Would you be so kind as to share your knowledge of a paper stock I could use? Ideally, I would like to use label stock. Is there such stock of a type that would handle the ink of a photo printed from my Canon PIXMA iP6700D?

Your help will be appreciated.

I have used plain label paper and it worked fine but have stepped up to
a heaviere paper that is glossy and still use the Elmers glue stick.

Although I'm not Wade, I use HP Multipurpose paper, with color lock, 20 pound. Our labels don't run until we put them in water to wet the glue.

Smoke I dont have the name as I only grabbed one pc last time to try
before buying a whole stack. All I can say is that it was heavier than
regular printing paper and glossy.
