Let's hypothetically say that you make a batch of blackberry wine, and have gone through primary. Once you've removed the fruit, squeezed the berries etc, what do you do with the leftover fruit pulp? Jam, jelly, pie, garbage disposal, flavored vodka???

Just curious.

I generally squeeze and then toss mine, but that's because I don't need another project. It is perfectly good for use in jams, jellies and pie fillings. The heat of producing those drives off the alcohol.

Pull the fruit out around 1.020 and use it to make a blush wine if you like. If you originally made 6 gallons I suggest you make 4 gallons (3 gallons final) so the flavor isn't weak.

It's not bad.

You can also use the fruit and the slurry for a skeeter pee. Awesome flavor.
