Hello Winemakers,

I am working in the UK and have ambitions of creating premium wine kits using several varietal grape concentrates of the highest quality available.

I am looking on advice on where to find quality grape concentrates and knowing that people here are wine experts I thought this would be a great place to start.

I am looking for links to direct manufacturers rather than wholesalers or agents, but links can be from anywhere globally, all help and advice on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Paul

Hi Paul - If I am reading you correctly, you are wanting to produce wine kits that you can retail and are looking for a source of grape juice concentrate? I am not sure but I believe the only source would be from kit makers such as RJ Spagnols, WineExpert and Vineco and others which are listed in this forum, who all source grapes from around the world and make juice and juice concentrates. I believe they do supply concentrates to other companies who sell kits under their own brand. You could contact them to get further information on this.
Good luck.

Hi Dugger,

Thanks for the information. However having worked in similar industries for some time my understanding is that RJ's, Vineco etc (WinExpert may be an exception but not 100% sure) dont have any concentrating facilities and, though they may not want end users knowing this, instead source the grape concentrates from companies around the world who specialise in this package them and sell them under their brand name.

Some examples of specialist concentrate companies like this are CalifornaConcentrate and Regina Juices - However my inclination is that there are many more particularly in South America who produce quality concentrates.

Any further advice or help in sourcing these would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Paul
