started a 6 gallon batch of california sav. blac on 10/5 fermentation started strong but is now doing practicly nothing.. temp at 72*
 
did you check your gravity? Check it on 3 different days, it is probably done.
 
Have you confirmed it is doing nothing by taking gravity readings? Quoting cpfan again, visual signs of fermentation are not always reliable. It's possible your wine is still fermenting even if no bubbles can be seen in the airlock.
 
Good chance it is done at .995 - check for 3 consecutive days - if it has not changed - it is done.
 
sg started at 1.04 is at .995 now thanks for the quick replies
Thats on the low side for starting gravity. You must have had fermentation when you got it.
In any case do whe above said.
