I have a steam juicer and have not steamed cherries. But, when you do remove the pit and stem. I would use at least 6#'s per gallon adn 25% more #'s for a f-pac. If you dont have enough steam them and add to the "Ball" canning jars and it will keep till you have enough.Anybody done it? If so, how did it turn out compared to pulp fermenting?
I have a new steam juicer and 24# of cherries (so far) with unlimited access to pick all I want before the birds get them.
