Anybody done it? If so, how did it turn out compared to pulp fermenting?

I have a new steam juicer and 24# of cherries (so far) with unlimited access to pick all I want before the birds get them.

I have a steam juicer and have not steamed cherries. But, when you do remove the pit and stem. I would use at least 6#'s per gallon adn 25% more #'s for a f-pac. If you dont have enough steam them and add to the "Ball" canning jars and it will keep till you have enough.

just made some cherry wine today! :)

Got mine juiced yesterday. Ended up with 3 gallons of juice out 24# cherries. The juice is heavy and yummy!!

I'll prolly test the acid and use as much of the juice for a 3 gallon batch as the acid level will allow.

What recipe did you use?
