Steam Juicer and Koolaid

I seem to recall reading about doing something with koolade when cleaning up the juicer. Anybody know what that was and how it's to be used? In the water pot I'm starting to get what I'm assuming to be calcium from the water and hoping this is what it addresses. Thanks, jerry

Jerry - people have used koolaide as an acidic cleaner, but I prefer to use citric acid. Vinegar works, but I hate the stink.

Since I have citric around for winemaking, I use it for all my calcium deposit cleanups.
