SO2 and pH

In monitoring my zin in the MLF process, I have noticed the pH is raising (which I expected) and the SO2 is droping.

I want to raise the SO2 level and lower the pH. Now from my remembered chemistry I beleive that by adding SO2 this should also lower the pH. Or do I need to add an additional acid?
 
You won' be adding enough SO2 to really effect the pH much if at all. I would not mess with the pH at all on Cali grapes (assuming they are) What is the pH currently? Unless its over 3.8 I wouldn't mess with it.
