I started a 6 gallon batch of Skeeter Pee with some modifications because I wanted more of a hard limeade base that will become mojito wine. I used 2/3 Real Lemon and 1/3 lime juice to start but left the rest of the recipe the same.
I'm also infusing rum with zestedl in one jar and fresh mint in another that will give me a fortified end product and hopefully the mojito taste I'm looking for. I am planning to add them at the end of fermentation at the same time I back sweeten and add Super Kleer.
My mint infusion is beautifully clear but the lime one is pretty cloudy. So finally to my question...has anyone ever used Super Kleer to clear alcohol/spirits and what were your results? I hate to add the lime infusion to only find that it keeps my wine from clearing.
