How long do you guys keep your siphon tubes? I use a clear 3/8" tube and I can tell it is starting to get a stain to it. It appears clean and I will run Star San through it prior to racking. I don't know if the staining contains any harmful organisms but would like to be safe. Thanks!

I have had the same tubes for 3 yrs. I rinse them out with warm water, then with K-meta, then I attach the loose end of the tube to the bottom of the racking cane and leave the residual K-meta in there. I rinse with water prior to use again. There is some cloudiness here and there but that is not a concern, sanitation is the goal.

Hoses are cheap. I replace all my hoses every three years of so. Over time (several years), they yellow as a result of being exposed to k-meta. I take this as a sign that they should be replaced.
