Is it ok to let wine go longer than around 10 days for the secondary fermentation? I may have to let mine go for 17 days before I can get to it. I would imagine it is ok, but I thought I would ask.
 
In a properly sized carboy with an airlock containing liquid, the extra 7 days will not be a problem.
