Racking

How often do you guys normally rack your wine after the initial transfer to carboy/barrel/demijohn? Once a month? Once every 2 months? etc...

From primary to secondary (getting off the gross Lees). Then every three months until I bottle. I normally wait a year to bottle my reds. Racking help degas as well. Some guys rack more, some less. Depends how board you get during the winter months.......

I betcha three months would be the norm for most of us here on WMT.
