i was curious how one would go about pressing oil from the grape seeds after pressing the juice from the grape

I had the same question, the best info I can find is that you might need something like this oil press, check out the youtube video . . .

Maybe there is a manual way but I haven't found it yet.

thanks!!! question anybody have any idea how to isolate the seeds from the pomace?

I would use a simple strainer of sorts - wire mesh , window screening and start panning like it is gold !!

I just googled grape seed oil and came up with this

I had no idea of the benefits - I guess I am going to look into this more

Thanks for the info !

yea grape seed oil is very in demand ad has many benefits. between last year and this year i threw out the pomace of 1000 lbs of grapes and it got me thinking about the seeds and oil. about straining im not sure a strainer alone would work well because out of the press the seeds and skins are pressed into a cake wouldnt you need to loosen it first? would a bath of sorts work? maybe the skins would float and the seeds sink?

check this if u can believe it: i heard about a guy who made a comfortable living going to wineries and offering to take their pomace off their hands for free. he then sold the seeds to cosmetic companies.
