Mrs. WM81 and I have a flawless system for choosing colors. She picks 3 to 5 colors she likes. I look them over and submit my opinion. If she disagrees, we discuss and come to an agreement normally within 5 minutes. She's happy with the color and the walls get painted. All objectives achieved!
We know one couple that will spend 3 months deciding on a color. Another acquaintance will buy 3 dozen samples and have all of them painted on the wall before she decides on a 37th color.
Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off NOW.
