Plastic freakers and senior members! Please take a look of the picture, will this be good for primary fermenting? I found it from taobao.com, and it cost around $50 US/CAD~

But the shipping cost will be too much. I am just wondering where I can find similar product locally in Canada.

Don't know if that is food grade or not. I don't live in Canada, but I would think you should be able to buy 3, 5, and 6 gallon Better Bottles for that amount or less. Sorry if I am way off on prices in Canada.

LIke Robie says, try to stay with food grade plastic.
Since you are talking the primary phase of fermenting, why not stick to the regular buckets - even with the LHBS buckets you can get 3 for the price of this.

There's numerous ways to economize, but I don't think doing so on equipment variations is wise. There are so many potential issues, I'd stick to equipment designed for wine.
