I have never made grape wine (excluding Welchs). Anyhow local place sells grape juice twice a year in the spring from Brazil and fall from the US.

The juice comes in a bucket and I was told all I have to do is pitch yeast.

I will check and record the gravity and PH. I know enough to rack, clear, and age it.

Any other prep suggestions?

Is there a gravity/PH spec I should alt to?

or suggested yeast?

never made from a bucket of juice but I can tell you where to look for the answer and if you don't find it there post a question there hope this helps ya! Wine Making from Grapes

Where are you getting the juice bucket from. There really isn't much you need to do and some of these juice buckets have yeast innoculated in them when you get them. You seem to have it down right.

I always test TA and ph SG etc I trust no one when it comes to my juice..... Some do come with yeast but always check........
