OneStep Question

Can some clear this up once and for all? Is OneStep a cleaner and sanitizer or not? I was told it was both but to be able to say you are a sanitizer there is expensive testing required and they didn't want to pay it.

What you have heqard is correct. Many have use this specifically in beer making forever. I personally dont use it but I know many who do and have never had a problem.

I use it for both beer and wine. It works great!

I use oxy-clean which is essentially the same thing but much cheaper. I buy it in 13# boxes from Home Depot or Sam's Club.

Walmart has its generic brand (Sun) which is probably cheaper then all the above. I dont use it though We use it for our laundry also so I use it just for cleansing though as it can leave a residue due to build up if you dont rinse it. I use the sulfite solution to sanitize or StarSan for beer.
