I'm trying a few wines for the first time and I'm curious if they are usually aged in oak and if so, what would be your recommendation for Oak and Toast Level.

These are from fresh grape juice.
Amarone
Meritage
Soave Classico

Thanks!

Amarone and Meritage are usually oaked light to medium but Im not familiar with the Soave Classico. The Meritage I would go with American and the Amarone I would go with Hungarian.

I like Med toast in my Amarone (2 cups)
The Soave Classico I have made but did not add Oak

Thanks for the quick answers Tom and Wade. I will give your recommendations a try!
