Newbie Q about "Cordon wire"

I'm very new to all this and need alittle help...
This spring I put out about 30 1year old Cayuga vines and now their starting to get up around chest high or so and I still only have the post's up but still no wire yet.
My question is,
Where would be the best/easiest place to get cordon wire and what guage would you folk's recomend?.......Thank's!....Kevin

I use 12.5 gauge galvanized wire from Tractor Supply.

...and google "gripples". They cost a bit but for short runs those things are an awesome time saver. Slip the wire through and pull it firm and you're done.
