Jack, the S.G. on day 3 was right at 1.040. It is in the carboy now with the oak chips.

Are you referring to the AllJuice Pinomer? I didn't know there was a Meglioli for that. I'll be interested to hear how you like it--Pinot is my husband's favorite, I'm not sure how different it would be with merlot.Maybe a little more body, a little less fruity?
Jackie, yes, it is the AJ Pinomer. I am quite interested in how this will turn out.
I didn't see in George's bag of tricks in the wines made or bottled this Pinomer.
