Ok, just curious as to why this is:
I always read the directions on any chemical I use. In the past year I have bought potassium metabisupfite from two different companies. There is a huge different on what each one says.
LD Carlson says 1/4 tsp per 6 gallon of must. for sanitize use 2oz to 1 gallon of water.
Crosby & Baker says 1/8 tsp per gallon but it does say this will produce approx. 1pp ppm of free SO2. for sanitze use 3 tablespoon per gallon
