Well I have started the Island Mist Black Raspberry. Just want to make sure all is well since this is the first time I have raised the abv. Target SG was 1.080. Orginal SG with kit to 6 gallons was 1.051 w/temp adjustment, must at 74. Added 1/2 f-pack new sg at 1.061. Made a corn surgar slurry with 4 pounds sugar and 2 cups water. Started out with 2 cups added not more then 4 points change. 4 cups added new SG was 1.074. Added remaing 3 cups new SG is 1.081. Going to be using my new Brew Belt from George. Question I have is that with all the extra surgar and f-pack it has rasied the level to about a 1/2 inch above my 6 gallon mark on my primary. Any issues with this? Have not pinched the yeast yet.
 
Let er bump.You will be fine. I must ask though, why are you using the brew belt? Is it still that cold out there?

Primary in my basement where it is pretty much 62-65. Last 4 kits I have done in the bathroom down there since my son is away at school. It was costing me around $ 28/month to run the space heater. Thought I would try the Brew Belt so I ordered it form George with the kit. Have another question for you... Did I see a Hard lemonade recipe from you somewhere on this forum?
