Just read @JohnT 's post and figured I'd do an update too. All's fine, just been busy with virtual learning for my daughter, covid craziness, work craziness, etc.
Other than @mainshipfred and @ceeaton I haven't seen of y'all, but hopefully that'll change post-covid. In the meantime its been great to be on the forum and seeing familiar names posting!!
I have 2018 and 2019 batches in progress from fresh grapes and juice:
Cabernet sauvignon
Carignan
Alicante bouschet
Touriga Nacional
Malvasia blanca
Sangiovese
Gewurztraminer
Rapel Casa Rosa
I'm planning to blend some of this into a Portuguese-style wine with +/- 50% touriga nacional, 25% alicante, and 25% cabernet sauvignon. So, if anyone's done something similar I'd love to hear about it.
Also picking up an Albarino juice bucket tomorrow am from Washington Area Winemakers.
