I just started my MM megliolo Old Vine Zin with the All Grape pack. This is my first grape pack and it will be interesting to see how it progresses. I did opt to use the strainer bag from a local wine show to hold the grapes and had a little difficulty transfering the grapes to that bag. I ended up cleaning another bowl to hold the bag and catch the juice while I poured the grapes in. It smells great. Anyone finish this one yet ?? I like whites mostly but like having a few reds around if the mood hits or if we have company.


BTW I also did the final transfer for my WE Trio Blanco and hope to have that bottled in a few weeks. Busy but fun weekend

Make sure to punch the grape pack down once or twice a day and squeeze those little critters against the wall of the primary with the backside of your spoon. Get all the goodness you can out of em.

This will be an impressive wine and something you will be proud to serve.
