RJ Spagnols Grand Cru Malbec - Oak Infusion Bag and Oak Chips

Started this kit yesterday - it has two sources of oak - the infusion bag and the oak shavings. Anyone make this before, and should I use both oaks?

Also, the kit included Merlot grape skins - is that normal?

Doesn't show a grape pack in the listing. I would use them for sure as they will do more for adding body/mouthfeel than most anything else you could add. I would also add all the oak. The kit companies have tested these things pretty extensively so follow the directions and you should come out with a pretty decent wine in 6-9 months time frame.

Yep, the International Collection includes Genuwine skins. Add all the oak for sure as well as the skins.
