WineXpert Giving Island Mist a kick

I am currently enjoying the last few bottles of myWildberry Shiraz. I like the flavor but it has a flat taste.I'm thinking ofsparkling my next kit to get that carbonated crispness. I'm happy with the alcohol content. Would I need to bring that(SG) up to bottle and sparkle? does anyone else have any experience with this?

I have been wanting to ***Sparkle*** some other wines...think I am going to try some Raspberry/Apple sometime...
I think any wine would make ***Sparkling*** wine, you see all kinds of it in the stores, sparkling Burgundy, rosé, and many others...
The instructions say to use a lower alcohol wine, I think because you add more sugar at the end and that probably boosts the alcohol content...

Don't be intimadated..the process seems complicated, but just go step by step...it really is worth the effort....

That is an outstanding tutorial. Personally, I've never been motivated enoughto turn my still into sparkling wine by riddling and degorging. I'm too lazy not to just bottle my still and start drinking. However, I am contemplating racking a VR Chardonnay into one of my kegs and attaching it to my CO2 tank to create artificial sparkling wine. No bottling, no riddling, and no degorging. The lazy guy's champagne (for my French friends out there, I have it on questionable authority that the VR Chardonnay juice (at least my kit) was from the Champagne region of France
