I started out using number 8's for the first 30 bottles. Will that be okay? I used number 9's on the second 60 bottles. I'm scared the number 8's will leak. Thoughts?

the difference between 8's and 9's is the diameter, 8's are used for wines that are stored for 1-2 years, 9's are from 2 to 5 year storage. Just drink up the 8's first and save the 9's for later.

for something that short, tasting corks work well. No corker needed and you can reuse them.
