I have a 6 gallon batch of mead that I started several months back. It has stopped fermenting and the oranges have fallen to the bottom and it is still not clear. I racked it 2 days ago and want to bottle soon. What is recommended to clarify my mead so I may proceed. Also, would you recommend I add any K-meta prior to bottling?
 
degas it, place it in a cold area if you can, and it should start to clear over 2 weeks. Failing that, use 100ml of liquid isinglass and it will clear up over 14 days too. I like isinglass because it is a very gentle fining agent.
