We headed to town for some grocery shopping,,
yeap I collected a deposit to start yet another job yesterday, so as quick as it comes in, it goes out to the economy.
At a Walmart that keeps asking my wife to work and help train their bakery/decorators they had strawberries,,,
wait for it, wait for it,,,,
$1.14 a pound. I bought another 7 pounds for an Fpac.
I couldn't believe the price.
Then drove right down the road to the local Lowes and just happened to check out their garden section. They had been advertising Blackberry plants and I wanted to look at them.
To my surprise, they had muscadine grapes for $7.95 in 8" pots.
The main stalk is the size of a pencil and the new growth coming off them is about two and one half feet long.
Two new canes to each main stalk.
I bought two, and wished I could have bought them all.
I do know that from the leaves, the plants are different varities. Hopefully male and female.
