changing my Avitar

would someone tell me how to put my own picture in the little box? I don't have any fancy programs, just the average stuff on my computer? I tried to add a picture, but it kept telling me it was to big.... Thanks ahead of time...

A picture for use as an avatar must be of the type, jpg, jpeg, gif, png, and have a maximum file size of 35KB
Here is a Image Re-sizer tool to reduce the picture size.

Youll probably have to use the program Masta posted and resize it using the handheld option.
