My first attempt at homemade wine. I've made several batches of beer. I thought I might try wine. The information on this site is great! Thanks for being so helpful.

The Kit.

The kit juice in the bucket without water added.

Racked to a 6 gallon carboy.Added clarifiers and topped up with a finished wine. Back to the temperature controlled fermentation chamber. That's my Brew House Honey Blonde Ale in there too.

looking mighy good there pablo...tell us more about that modified freezer

Looks good, I'm a converted beer maker too (though I still do a bit, have a brown ale going now) welcome to the forum!!

The chest freezer is a Ranco controller. (ebay) The upright freezer has a Johnson Controls controller. (Beverage Factory) The chest freezer is only 7cu feet. The floor space is too small for two carboys or fermenters. I keg my beer so I was using the other one to drink out of. I changed the temperatures and now the kegs are in the chest freezer and the upright is the fermenter.

Nice set up Pablo. Im trying to talk my wife into a set up like this but she hasnt caved in yet!

That should be a very nice wine Pablo...I did the VN Sangiovese and have the Castel del Papa on the floor....If the Castel turns out like the Sangiovese you will have a very good wine....Good luck.

I cleaned, rinsed, drained, sanitized, filled and corked 30 bottles of wine today. It has a nice, clear color of purple. It tastes good already too. I'll open a bottle around the end of the year.
