Hello all - I am wanting to calibrate my pH meter and I have the 4.01 and 7.01 buffers but I see there is what appears to be a temperature conversion scale on the packaging - so, I'm just wanting to check, should I calibrate to 4.01 and 7.02 or should I calibrate to the values indicated on the package according to temperature??
Thanks,
Wayne

Wayne, I wouldn't worry about it. At most you will be off by .01 or .02. When you think about it, does it really matter if the pH of your wine is 3.34 or 3.36? When I worked in a chem lab we never applied temperature corrections when calibrating pH meters.

Thanks Peter - I wasn't sure how much difference it would make and will now proceed without worry!
