I am going to start a batch of blueberry-pomegranate
this is the recipe I am going to use.
8 lbs blueberry 128 oz just pomegranate juice
6 tsp nutrient
2.5 tsp pectic enz.
2.5 tsp energizer
water to 6 gallon
12 lbs sugar

I am looking for a sg about 1.090
Does anyone thing I am missing anything
My son made this but he added 32 oz lemmon juice and 15 oz lime juice.
It came out very good.

That looks to be light on fruit for a 6-gallon batch, it may do pretty good as a 3-gallon batch. Maybe someone else can chip in here.

I think I might add some more blueberries.
I am going to the flee market tomorrow and I can get a flat for $10.00
their is about 8 lbs to a flat.
How much more do you think I should add?
I still have about 15 lbs in the freezer, that I want to do an all blueberry with.
What I have been reading was 3 lbs per gallon, with blueberries.

I would double the amount of blueberries for a six gallon batch, consider adding one frozen/thawed 100% white grape juice concentrate per gallon, ditch the raisins. You will build body, need less sugar. Simple syrup being the last thing you add to reach your target OG the morning you pitch the yeast--giving berries a chance to extract as they sit on pectic enzyme/k-meta.
Will you be freezing berries before using, for cell wall breakdown? I know it will be tasty!

The pomegranate juice I used clams to have 3 lbs per 32 oz.
The blueberries were frozen.
4 hours after yeast pitched sg was 1.092 yeast was red star Montrachet
