I just finished corking, capping, and labeling 32 bottles of Super Tuscan that I put together with a Fontana 6 gal Sangiovese kit and a 1 gal WineExpert Chilean Merlot kit. Started them together using the Fontana additives in a 7 gal carboy on June 22nd. This batch finished rapidly to .994 and then cleared just as fast! Drinkable now as a fresh wine, but I have great expectations for this after a few months of bottle aging! Combined price of the kits was under 100, and so-called Super Tuscan kits can be crazy expensive! So far this is one successful and economical experiment!
