I have a batch of Black Rasp Merlot (w/ half f-pack and sugar mods) that is ready to go into the secondary. Would adding a banana at this point be a good idea?
 
It will add body and some sugar which will up the abv some but you will want to add some pectic enzyme with it.
 
I think i would see how the fpac finishes out first then modify later..............if needed........assuming this is a kit wine....that type adjustment is not always necessary...............
