WineXpert South African Shiraz Cabernet Shipped Today!

Just racked it for the beginning of the bulk aging phase. Had a hint of cherry in mine, could use a bit more oak, but overall quite pleasing. Any thoughts on it guys and gals?

On a different subject.. I cracked the first EP super tuscan tonight after 5 months aging... wowzers. Ive been drinking wine for 3 years now, almost all red. The first 1.5 years i bought wine and then moved into the wine making. If this wine isnt the best tasting wine I've ever had its top 3...

WineXpert Sick of KT bad reviews on winexpert

Great thread. I personally am biased to RJ spagnols EP kits. It was funny, i did the WE australian shiraz kit and thought it tasted better at about 3 months then at about 7. Either way tho, I ordered two LE's from WE for this december so I will see what happens then. As of now i have done an RJS...

    RJ Spagnols California Cabernet EP

Sounds good i think 18 to 24 months is do-able. Holy crap vabeachbear.... you just owned me on that aging! lol. Im impressed. If you have the right quality cork, should it not be good for much longer than 5 years?

    RJ Spagnols California Cabernet EP

Anyone make this one? I bottled mine after 3 months bulk aging... and opened on last night after 2 more months in the bottle. I must say Im very pleased with this wine.. certainly equates to beyond a 15 dollar bottle wine in my eyes. Smooth as butter, thick tannins and a deep layer of oak...

    RJ Spagnols EP Super Tuscan

I just bottled the EP super tuscan after 3 months bulk aging... very nice! Cant wait to crack a bottle in another 6 months or so. It was smooth and had some really fruit forward tastes too it. Cant wait till the oak melds into the mix a little smoother. Also bottle the EP california cab after...

LOL, thanks guys.. I didnt want to tell this story but here it goes. I got back home from camp last night and decided to rack my California North Coast Grand red. I usually keep the boxes that the wine came in inside the utility room and store the wine in the cold room in my basement. I used...
